Halloween Crack-Christmas Crack. Hey, It's Crack!

Oh yes, it's Crack Time!  This a favorite in my house and any party I take it to. It's sooooo easy to make and will for sure be a favorite by all!

It's called Christmas Crack around these parts, but hey it's Halloween season so I added a few sprinkles and deemed this masterpiece Halloween crack. (Real Original, I Know!)

Let's get our CRACK on!

The stars of the show!

Let's take a moment to be honest here. And by honest...I mean real damn honest!  Any recipe that calls for TWO CUPS of butter is going to be hella tasty!

And you're welcome...let's get it on!

Dump one box of Rice Chex, one box of Honey Grahams, a bag of coconut, and slivered almonds. Now, sometimes I don't use slivered almonds because they're effin' expensive!

Heat the butter up until melted, add 2 cups sugar, and 2 cups corn syrup. It gets a bit sticky here. SLOWLY, bring the mix to a rolling boil.  Let boil for four minutes.

Then it's simple pour on cereal mix!  Mix around until everything is coated. And as you can see, I use a disposable tin because where ever you take this it will be devoured.  You won't come home with any!

Oh, and every normal person lets their son stir while their Yorkie encourages him!

And here's the crack...

RECIPE

1 (13-ounce) box Rice Chex cereal
1 (12-ounce) box Golden Grahams cereal
1 large can almonds halves
(Or if you're poor or cheap you can avoid these)
2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups corn syrup

DIRECTIONS

Combine Rice Chex, Golden Grahams, and almonds in a disposable tin.
I encourage you all to taste a few pieces to ensure nothing is poisonous!

In a large saucepan, melt butter then add sugar, and corn syrup to a boil stirring constantly. Let boil for four minutes. Pour over cereal mixture and stir until all is well coated.

Again this is very important...taste test the warm mixture for safety purposes!  And enjoy!

Love,
Heidi
